Meet fighter BBF LoxSweet sickly read, loved all the characters lox and his two best friends who grew up together, the brothers were funny with their banter. There we're a good few twists in the plot here and there. Lox was brought up by a single mom and understood all Sloans insecurities. This guy who was supposedly a fighter seemed to good to be true, loving, caring, understanding called her sweetie? but it made it a sweet romantic read.Sloan is a single mum determined to take care of her boy herself, there wasn't much to Sloans character though other than that.Finishing with a cliffhanger about Sloans friend now that is one book I do want to read her friend had more of a fiery character so I hope its out soon.Would of liked more hotness angst and action but it was a good read :-)

5 PLUS Stars.... Amazing, Great, Beautiful, Sexy oh yeah, I could go on and on:)I started and finished this book yesterday and OMG was it absolutely beautiful!!!!! To say that I loved it is an understatement. The storyline was PERFECT, it flowed beautifully, the development and the execution of Lox and Sloan's relationship was just brilliantly played out. Yeah, see I am at loss here, it was so good for me that I am a bit speechless because no words can do this story justice! Once I started the story, it captivated me and I literally could not put it down!Lox and Sloan.....oh my, these 2 were the most beautiful, sincere, warmest of souls and although their relationship was a slow build, it was beyond spectacular, it couldn't have played out any better in my mind. Now add in that adorable little boy Sage and yep, a literary masterpiece. I applaud S.M. Donaldson on how she spun this story. It was so realistic and the characters were so "alive" in my head that I felt like I was right there living this story with all of them. Just GREAT stuff!!!!! The way the storyline evolving around Sloan and Sage was handled meticulously and it was written with the upmost respect and care in regards to single parenthood and it left me with the warmest feelings all the way down to my toes!!!!!The cast of characters was spectacular, I mean I loved ALL of these characters and I can't wait to dive straight into all of their stories. I mean Lox's family and Sloan's family were the perfect mixture and yep, again, I am speechless! This is a must read and I highly recommend for all you romantics out there, this story was captivated on every level for me:)Congrats to you, S.M. Donaldson, this book was nothing less of a literary Grand Slam!!!!!!!

This was good. Before I's a good read and I encourage you to give it a go.It's not a page turner. It won't have you wanting to close yourself in a room to shut the world out because you can't put it down. For just took so long for this couple to get TOGETHER. The meet immediately. There are hints of attraction. However, little side stories with her ex, the gym, the secondary characters get way more time in the book than they do as a couple. After they go out its like full steam ahead, but it just took so long.

Letting Lox In is a good story. Lox, Sly, and Huck are best friends who have been raised by a single mom. Now they are MMA fighters and a riot to read about. Sloan is a single mom struggling to keep her life on track while she works and cares for her son. As a massage therapist, she runs into Lox by chance after he gets out of whack in a fight. From there they become friends and eventually lovers. But when her past comes to light will Lox be able to handle it and help fight through it? It was a good read. I'm so happy to get an ARC of this book and can't wait for Sly and Kara.

I thought this was different from most MMA books. It was a sweet love story filled with real problems faced by a single mother. It still had the hot MMA fighter it just wasn't all about said hot fighter and the MMA lifestyle. I really enjoyed it and loved, loved, loved the twins. They were too funny. It is a complete story with a HEA, and a really big hint at who the next book is about. Can't wait.

3.5 starsSweet story. But the mess with the ex - I felt she rolled over too easily. Biggest problem I had was that I did not see or feel any bonding between her son and Lox. He bonded with his friend. But I just did not feel the connection with Lox. I will read the next installment though.

Loved it!! I've found another hot book boyfriend in Lox. I cannot wait for additional books in this series.Sloan gets pregnant in college by the town's football hero Lucas. When she tells him, he offers her a check to fix the problem and then leaves town after being drafted by a NFL team. She never cashed that check and he's never seen his son. The jerk even started rumors that the baby wasn't his. Her four year old son Sage is the most important person in her life and she works hard to provide a good home for him. She's a massage therapist for a great doctor and is happy.Lox is an up and coming MMA fighter. He and his two best friends, twins Huck and Sly, work out and help run Marco's gym with him. When he suffers a shoulder/arm injury in a fight, he goes to the doctor who prescribes a massage to help with the soreness. From the moment he meets Sloan, he's drawn to her. When Lox finds out about Sage, he respects her even more. Lox was raised by a single mom and knows first hand how important that is. Slowly they form a strong relationship. When a fight after party brings Sloan face to face with Lucas, Lox finds out who Sage's father is. It's not pretty and Lucas tries to start stuff for PR reasons with Sloan over the son he has always denied and never acknowledged. But Lox is there and he's determined to make sure Sloan and Sage are a part of his life. He'll also do whatever he can to make sure Lucas doesn't hurt Sloan again.I absolutely adored Lox. The man is hot, protective, caring and the whole flippin package. Sly and Huck are hilarious. Marco too. They all adore Sage and quickly become a close group. Sloan is a great female lead and amazing mom. She's not one of those women who complains and grates on your nerves. You'll love her and Lox together. There's a bit of a cliffy at the end, but it involves Sloan's best friend Kara who is another great character in this book. She and Sly hooked up during this story and the next book in this series is theirs. This was a great start to what looks like a wonderful series. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

Sloan Foster thought she had her life mapped out, until she got pregnant in college right around the time her boyfriend got drafted for the NFL. The only support she was getting from him was a check to get rid of the “problem.” So she does what any self-respecting woman in her situation does – sucks it up and does whatever it takes to care for herself and her son, Sage. Now, she works as a massage therapist and refuses to rely on anyone.Lox Storm is working to go pro for MMA fighting, training under Vance DeMarco. He’s also part owner of Marco’s gym and with his two best friends, Sly and Huck, teaches women’s and children’s self-defense classes. When an injury from a fight ends up with him on Sloan’s massage table, little does he know his world is about to change. The attraction between the two is undeniable, but Lox, being raised by a single mom himself, knows how much hard work it takes to raise a kid. The last thing Sloan needs is someone like him getting in the way. Lox wakes Sloan’s hibernating libido but as much as she wants him, she can’t depend on another man, and she can’t risk Sage getting hurt. When secrets come out and threats are made, who will be there for her? Will she let Lox in or will the rising problems just make her push him further away?I fell in love with the characters in this story, especially the boys. Lox, Sly, Huck, Sage – they all had me smiling, laughing, and tearing up at times. I love MMA fighting and this is a great start to a new series. Keep ‘em coming, S.M. Donaldson, I love your work!

I wasn't so sure about this one in the beginning, but I'm glad I kept reading.. I have a thing for the single mom meets awesome guy who's crazy about the kid... I found one of those about 6 years ago and he's been dad to my boys ever since... Love reading it! I loved Sage he was so cute, and his relationship with Sly lolThey're a match made in little boy heaven haha. I really wanted to see it work out between Sly and Kara, but she turned idiot and look where that got her... didn't like that.I was also glad Karma got Lucas the way it did. I have no sympathy for people like him, Sloan was a much bigger person than me for having sympathy for him at all after the way he spoke to her and treated her... uhmm hello he slapped her in the face and everyone just brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal??? Uhmmmm... no!The Huck and Elizabeth thing was pretty annoying, I didn't care for all that drama especially cuz we didn't find out what it was about, or the meeting between them and Marco that they kept askin about but nobody got answers to then it was all forgotten... that's annoying. Overall, it was a cute story though, I was up til 4:30 this morning reading it so I'll cut this review short.I'll probably read Sly and Kara's story next, but I'm hoping it's a lot better than their start cuz I dunno if I can handle it if she acts the way she did in this story. We shall see I reckon.....

First book in a MMA Series and I am a shoe in – never going to not read this, I am happiest when I have a fighter in my hands!Sloan was the best single mom you could ever wish to have, she turned her back on an ex that when he made it big, and thought she would just take his money and abort what he thought was nothing more an her problem. But Sloan had other ideas then and she still does. Her son Sage was the only man that mattered in her life and that didn’t look like changing anytime soon. But when Lox Storm’s butt lands on her massage table, life for them both is never going to be the same again.Lox trains at Marco’s gym and is doing everything he can to turn pro but when he gets injured his future is in Sloan’s hands, little did he know that his heart was too.Lox is the son of a single mom , so he has an understanding of the situation that Sloan is in all be it from Sage’s point of view but the resistance he meets from Sloan has him all the more determined to find a way through her armour. The connection is too intense to let it fizzle.I liked the two of them, they were an engaging pair and when they finally got their act together they were everything I could have possibly hoped for

Loxley Storm..... yes please! New book boyfriend right there!!!!!!!Sloan Foster meets Lox when he ends up on her massage table. She has a son Sage with her ex-boyfriend who left her as soon as he found out she was pregnant. Lox, Sly and Huck, his best friends are MMA fighters who live together. Sly and Huck feature alot in this book along with Sloans friend Kara and her son Sage who the guys call Slick.... you can see there stories forming throughout the book and I am really excited to read Sly and Kara's story which I am hoping is next and soon. I loved Lox and Sloan as a couple and I loved that all of the boys are so alpha but watched Grey's Anatomy and are huge fans. As a Grey's fan it made me smile and lol when it was referring to the boys watching this together and when they meet Sloans parents for the first time and find out their names are Derek and Meredith and they named there daughter Sloan was priceless.....This is a brilliant read and has made it onto my favorites shelf.... its going to be a book I go back and read over and over again and I cant wait for the rest of the series. Its an easy read and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is a sucker for MMA alpha men and strong women leads.

Amazing start to this series I met S.M. Donaldson at a book signing recently and she was so so nice I knew I had to read her books. I'm not a huge MMA book fan so I was a bit nervous going in but this book was amazing!! It has everything you want in a great, heartache, humor, and hot bad boys that are really great guys. Lox is amazing! He is sweet and caring and a little tough. He has a huge heart. Sloan has had a rough few years. She has been treat horribly by someone close to her. She is guarded and protective over her child. She is a wonderful caring mother! When Sloan and Lox meet neither realize their lives are going to change forever. Their connection is instant but their relationship grows throughout the book. They have to go through a lot of complications to have their happily ever after. I loved their connection and Lox's connection to her son. I loved the supporting characters and I can't wait to read the rest of Marco's boys' stories! Lastly, it's always a amazing the read a book and love a book by someone you know is a genuinely nice person!

Wow, I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. This is my first time reading about A MMA fighter, and also my first book by this author but I literally read the whole thing in a couple of hours which is unlike me unless it is for an author or series I really love. However from the very start Lox, Sly and his twin Huck just drew me in and then the relationship they all had with Sloan and her son Sage (Or Slick to the guys!) Throw in some drama, an asshole ex, hot sex, and a tiny cliff hanger relating to Sloan's friend Kara and I was hooked. I really loved the development of the relationship between Lox and Sloan (who for many reasons was reluctant to start anything with Lox) and also the relationship that develops between the guys and Sage was brilliant and at times extremely funny. I am now eagerly awaiting the next book in the series which features Sly and Kara but in the meantime I'm going to see what other books this author has written.

I absolutely love this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!There are no words I can use to do this book justice on how much I loved it.The main characters are wonderful and have depth. I loved their determination and goals unique to the character. They all have issues they need to overcome and they work hard at them. The secondary characters are just as lovable. They don't even seem like secondary characters as much as it seems like one big happy family just from a different perspective. This book could be a stand alone but its also part of a series. I just have to say that Im so glad I bought the 4 books at once because I had to start the second book in this series right a way. I try not to read the next book in a series right away. I like to put one book in between but with this series Im not ready to leave these characters. Lox won my heart in this book and I cant wait to see if the other boys can.

Love mma boysI could never get enough of mma men and I got another great one in letting lox in. Lox is every girls dream it stakes claim on what he cares about, when he loves he loves hard but knows a woman's worth.Sloane hasn't had things easy, she got pregnant in college boyfriend/baby daddy is fixing to be a big NFL star and wants nothing to do with her or the baby. Sloane moves away to start a life for her and sage. One day Lox is nursing a hurt arm and is told to have a massage and Sloane happens to be the one to do it. There is an attraction between them, so what ends up being a great friendship turns into an awesome love. Sloane has a hard time letting someone care for her and her son, but she can't help what her heart wants, but when sages father comes back into the picture can they survive, will their love be enough. Loved this story, loved the twins Sly and Hunter and can't wait for their stories. 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book by this author I have read and I look forward to reading many more. This story is really good, its flows, and is very well written. The characters are well written and complex. You get to see them grow through out the story as well. Lox and his best friends who are more like brothers. Lox was raised by a single mom and his mom also pretty much raised Sly and Huck ( The best friends) They are all MMA fighters. Sloan is a single mom trying to raise her son on the money she makes as a massage therapist. Things aren't easy but she is doing the best she can.A small injury gets Lox sent to get a massage, and Sloan is the therapist he sees. They get to know each other thru sessions and on a night out. The chemistry between these too is off the charts.

Was provided a copy from the author. Lox is an MMA fighter. He grew up with his 2 best friends, Sly and Huck, who are twin brothers. The gym is his life. He meets Sloan and be has a pull towards her. Sloan is a single mom. She is a massage therapist. Her best friend Kara invites her out for some adult time. From there, her and Lox, along with their friends, become close. I love fighter books, and this is Def one of my favs now! Not only is Lox a gentle giant, but he's also an alpha. He's protective but not overbearing. I love how all the characters interact. SM has done it again!! I Def recommend this!!

Solid story. Enjoyable read. I liked Lox. He was a very stand-up young man. He didn't realize he was ready to settle down, but one look and he was struck. Sloan had been hurt and betrayed. She was a single mom who had no help from her little son's father. She did not trust easily, but Lox seems to always be there and be able to be counted on. He definitely becomes someone she and Sage can rely on. I love how Sly and Huck are with Slick, as well. It is so cute! So many good parts.ARC provided in exchange for honest review.

Wow! This is quite an emotional story. Sloan being a single mother and Lox growing up with a single mother. That's the best connection you could ever have. Knowing exactly how that goes and then some. I was rooting for Lox the whole entire time and now that they finally found one another they can begin their happy ever after. The ending was cut short but it leaves us wondering what's going to happen to Kara? Hopefully her story will pick up where Sloan's left off. Loved this book!

The book was really good and I like the storyline. I wish there would have been more love bonding between Lox and Sloan - it just seemed like it all happened almost at the end of the book and most of the book was more focused on the issue with Lucas and the intro to all the characters in the book. I still loved it and cant wait to read the next book on Sly and Kara. Great cliffhanger!
