Cute and fairly well written. And "clean," in the sense that there are no descriptions of sex. But there's a lot of talk about it, in part because the story basically hinges on it. In a way, it's a cute concept, but I somehow still couldn't shake the feeling that it was kind of creepy too. A girl gets married spontaneously to someone she's known a while, gets pregnant, then gets into a car crash and has amnesia and can't remember any of it. Maybe it is just me, but, yeah, just a shade creepy.

This felt like a Harlequin romance with none of the sex or cussing. Which is to say it felt very contrived with an endless string of misunderstandings caused by a lack of communication dragging out the threadbare plot, all knotted together by incredibly plot convenient amnesia (view spoiler)[for precisely the 4 days the female protagonist managed to catch her fiance cheating on her with an old school friend before almost raping her, at which point she broke off her engagement, married someone else she used to have a teenage crush on, and got knocked up her first time (hide spoiler)]. For a 163 page story this felt like it dragged on much, much longer. However, the writing itself was really pretty decent and flowed in an easy to read manner. I just have to assume that this is a case of a book being very much not for me. If you happen to like clean romance with lots of angst and characters that take awhile to warm up to their feelings, then this may be a entertaining afternoon read for you.

Shorty, novella-sized book. The LOCA friend from *The M Word* shows up in this book, but they are stand-alone. This was a better book to me, because the heroine isn't b.s. crazy. I liked the premise and loved the hero. Beverly Farr is great for a "pick-me-up" and delivers with *Forgotten Honeymoon*

I liked it, I especially liked that it had an original premise. The story starts with Kelly waking up in the hospital after a car accident. She soon learns that she has amnesia and has no memory of the last three weeks. Fast forward two months and Kelly discovers she is pregnant. She is shocked since she is a virgin and has no memory of how she became pregnant. I thought this was an interesting plot, not one I’ve read before. Kelly was okay. I didn’t always think her reactions to situations seemed realistic. She was fickle. I thought her post-amnesia feelings for Nigel and Lars flipped too quickly. I guess Lars had been a close friend for a long time, but she’d never thought of him as anything else. I thought Lars was a little TOO serious, borderline workaholic. I get opposites attracting, but I still think you have to have some things in common, and I’m not sure if they had anything in common (besides a physical attraction). I think they’ll end up driving each other nuts in the long run. Hopefully they’ll learn some good communication skills along the way. I was confused with a couple of Kelly's memories. (view spoiler)[ She catches her BFF Kelly sleeping with Nigel. I thought this was why she called off the wedding (pre-amnesia). Then another memory is Nigel trying to rape her. So, I was confused with the timing of things. If she had caught him with her friend, why was she back at his apartment where he then tries to rape her? Maybe I need to reread that section, I might have missed something. I also thought the whole date rape thing was unnecessary. Seemed to come out of left field. I also thought Kelly response to remembering her friend sleeping with her fiancé seemed weird. She just shrugged it off and even though she was marrying someone else, how would she not be madder or confront her?(hide spoiler)]Overall, I liked it. I thought it could have been a little deeper and I would have tweaked some things, but it was a nice diversion.ContentRomance: Pretty clean (view spoiler)[ Closed door intimacy, but sex is a main plot-point. Some mild innuendo.(hide spoiler)]Language: I can't remember any...Violence: None-mild (view spoiler)[ vague memory of attempted rape, no details(hide spoiler)]

For me a 5 star read is a book I cant put down. And this was one of them. the book was short enough that I finished it in 1 sitting but I know i would be very annoyed if I had to pause midway. Lovely story, well paced, well written. The lost memory is not very hard to guess so there's not much suspense (for me ) but I enjoyed the romance. the heroine was all over the place so it was a little annoying but then again I know people who are exactly like her so she was very believable to me. The hero also wasn't that impressionable except that he was crazy about her and didnt want to lose her. together, I think they were so different, they worked well.

I couldn't imagine being in a car wreck and forgetting three weeks of my life. Especially when things are going on that just doesn't make sense. Kelly wonders why she had called her wedding off but decides that she will go on and marry him anyway. Things seem to be going ok until she finds out that she is pregnant and it turns out that she was a virgin before she lost her memory and her finance tells her that the baby doesn't belong to him. She just doesn't understand what happened.I love this story and I had to read it when I saw the cover and read the blurb. I really want to write more but don't want to give anything away. I can't wait to read more by this author. She sure knows how to write a very exciting story.

Cute, romantic storyKelly was in an accident and ends up with short term amnesia. She silly starts to remember pieces of the lost time. What happen between her and Nigel? Why is Lars acting different? I like the premise and the author did a good job executing the story. I would of liked a little more at the end, especially about the baby. Maybe we will get more info in Brenda's story.

love the story... :) at first, I was confused.... The emotions of both the leading characters are like a roller coaster ride... "he loves me, he loves me not" "she loves me, she loves me not.." Finished the book in a span of 8 hours (PROUD) hahaha... overall...the story is cute... I really have a strong feeling that Lars is so cute..and hot.. :)

It was a cute story but contained too much angst and petty misunderstandings that could have been resolved with up front communication.
